I believe that Abstract Art is a Universal language that allows me to communicate beyond the barriers of linguistics. Typically I work on a very large scale, the monumentality of the pieces thus emphasizing the significance of their statements. Recently however, working on a small scale has proven to be an exceptional opportunity for exploration and growth. My foundation is deeply rooted in Classical Greek Heritage, which I refer to often throughout my work. I have always found solace in Nature and looked to her for inspiration and answers.

My sculpture is about the striking juxtaposition of opposing energies that co-exist in the Universe, both internally and externally. Fragmentation occurs when the Harmony between the Animus (male part of ourSelves/Yin) and the Anima (female part of ourselves/Yang) becomes discordant. I seek to understand the Forces that instigate this imbalance whilst simultaneously awaiting its resolution. This quest is most dominant in the Dialogue series where two organic figures (one male, one female) are engaged, charging the negative space between them that becomes the Hero within.
