I like to capture the fleeting glimpse that is usually experienced when a particular moment is seen in that first instant.
I�ve studied all the major techniques and styles and have always found that sticking with one particular artistic style or technique as being too restrictive.
Being self-taught has allowed me to bend the �rules�, and push beyond the boundaries. To experiment a lot more and incorporate the fusion of several techniques and styles. This gives me the freedom to remain more true to the mood of the artwork. . .

Some Historical Facts About Me:
I have been dismissed from the Victorian Artist�s Society, twice. Once when I was 17, and the other time when I was 36. Both times because the people in charge did not believe that the paintings I had submitted for their annual exhibition were made by me. In their words they did not believe that someone my age could have the maturity to paint like that. I felt peeved, couldn�t be bothered to dispute them and never went back - 1972 and 1993
Joan Gough from Joan Gough Gallery once stated publicly that in sheer technique I was unbeatable -1986
