| Born 1956, USA the artist lives and works in Seattle, Washington, USA Artist EJ Meissner is largely self-trained after taking some schooling in various mediums, such as clay, lost-wax method jewelry production, acrylic and oil painting, and charcoal and pastel drawing. In 1977 EJ created 2 of the World’s smallest fully functional violins, which were reported in print media across the USA, as well the subject of an interview on National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered” program. Frigginwater is EJ’s current “Art As Product” art project, which offers topical, humorous, and bizarre storylined “styles” of water as ubiquitous product.
