| Born 1976, United States the artist lives and works in Pittsburgh, PA, United States Christine Holtz is a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based photographer and educator. She earned her BFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design (2000) and an MFA in Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology (2002) Ms. Holtzs photography has been exhibited and collected nationally. Selected solo exhibitions include Gallery Katz (Boston, MA), James Watrous Gallery (Madison, WI), Photo/Print Gallery (Truckee Meadows Community College, Reno NV), Focal Point Gallery (Minnesota State University Moorhead, Moorhead, MN) Gallery 1101 (Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Carbondale, IL) and SRO Corridor Gallery (Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX) Ms. Holtz was appointed Associate Professor of Media Arts at Robert Morris University in the fall of 2007, after teaching five years at the University of Wisconsin Platteville Website: Christine Holtz |
