| Untitled Study, 2007 from Come, come, come into my world Series, 2007-ongoing. Black and white photographic print and cut out magazine page on paper, 73×59,5 cm; image size 27×20 cm. Unique work. |
| Born 1965, Italy the artist lives and works in Paris, France While Alberto Brusamolino has always worked with collage in various forms, his previous works are predominantly photographic, whereas his recent experimentations with the cut up technique source material from magazines together with his own photographs which he integrates with his own invented imagery; transformations that inspire us to re-imagine the world we inhabit. These techniques have brought him closer to an exploration of the figurative representations of the human body (…). | 11.01 - 23.02.2008 London, UK Whitecross Gallery is pleased to present Affordable Art - Group Show, a group exhibition including work by Gemma Anderson, Cesar Baracca, David Blackmore, Alberto Brusamolino, Etienne Clement, Robin Cracknell, Allan Forrester Parker, Paolo Giardi, Lia Anna Hennig, Kira Kim, Jeff Lowe, Wendy Murphy, Jörg Obergfell, Alexis Panayotou, Pei Shih Tu and Anna Maria Sacconi. The gallery director and the curator create a uniquely stimulating “collection” where each object is allowed to speak for itself and have its own dialogue with the viewer. Avoiding any preconceptions of what an installation of all these works might look like, they present them sensitively and with very little fuss. Whitecross Gallery Website: Whitecross Gallery |
