in the 1963 Roland Rafael Repczuk was born to be an artist.
At the age of three he and his family moved to a small town near Cologne, where he grew up.
During his childhood Roland Rafael Repczuk already discovered his passion for painting.
At the age of nineteen he had several contacts to students of Joseph Beuys.
In consequences of these impressions a change took place and years of travel followed.
During this time he collected a lot of impressions and evolved his demand of a permanent development.
He had several expositions near Cologne.
1984-1985 he spent his time in France.
At the end of 1985 he refused the contemporary art and turned towards the
old trade.
In using the old masters a long period of creation started.
Roland Rafael Repczuk creates realistic and surealistic oilpaintings.
At the end of 1990 he moved again into the north of Germany.
Now he lives with his family near Hamburg.
During the last twenty years he made oilpaintings, drawings, mosaics, frescos
and landscape formings.
He gave his life for art and philosophy. This turns Roland Rafael Repczuk into
a loner.
It gave him a special personality with recurrently philosophically thoughts.

I am neither a dreamer nor a realist.
I enrich myself in life and in the endless aspects of an eternal shifting reality.
Its alterability forces myself not to enslave me from laws
and truths made by human beings.
Laws are unremittingly changed by life itself.
My thoughts are the creator of my destiny.
I rule the roost to subjugate those cacophony
caused by the tragically confusion of my requirements
with my wishes and the want of confidence against the unique creation.

Born 1974, UK

I express my humble journey towards the within, my conscious self, and encounter the obstacles of a material world and external forces.

My expressions are enigmas; an invitation to solve a riddle of light in darkness.

I move through the world of illusions like a thief in the dark.
My paintings mirror moments of my journey.

My art is not trying to be known nor to raise money. It has to be experienced and imagined in a dream without title, thesis or temperament.

Born 1975, Australia

Luke Feldman, the creator of Skaffs, is an Australian artist that creates for a multitude of platforms. Inspired by childhood experiences and a vivid imagination, his illustrations and animations are minimalist, with defined lines, detailed characters, and vividly vibrant colours that give his work depth and movement. Known for his whimsical females; the large, intense, eyes and fluid bodies are strangely erotic; yet maintain a distant, unattainable feeling. In these pieces, the female form has been reduced to its most basic points, without the need for vulgarity, yet these creatures are not quite human, transporting us into a fantasy. Further information can be found at www.skaffs.com

His distinctive style has led to a number of high profile illustration and animation projects. Some of the highlights include Flash animation and interactive content for Wallop, a Microsoft social-networking company, illustrations for Coca-Colas 2007 advertising campaign, Custo-Barcelona Designs, Semipermanents 2007 publication, Desktop Magazine, Contagious Magazine, Staf Magazine, Playtimes Magazine, a Skaffs scoota customisation, and worldwide exhibitions. In 2006, Luke launched a skate deck line, a vinyl adhesive line, and was a finalist in the Cut & Paste digital design tournament. In 2007, he was a finalist in the Erotic Art Prize, a finalist in the DeskTop Create Awards illustration competition and a finalist in the Addicting Games Shoot Em Up Flash game design competition. His animation (Flash animation and music created by Luke Feldman) featured at Comic-cons International Independent Film Festival and he recently launched his Skaffs vinyl toy prototype.

Further details with regard to his work and upcoming exhibitions can be found at www.skaffs.com .
