About true dreams, about false dreams

Born 1941, Italy
the artist lives and works in Milano, Italy

Gian Paolo Dulbecco, born in La Spezia (Italy) in 1941, begins painting at the end of the 50s. He also devotes himself to the engraving techniques, especially to the “puntasecca”.
In 1966 he graduates at the Polythecnic University in Milan. His first exhibitions date to the last years 60s, when he moves to Rome. In 1971 he comes back to Milan, taking part in many important art exhibitions. In 1982-83 performs a set of paintings on the “Via Crucis” theme, now placed in the S.Gemma church in Monza; at the same time he presents also some paintings in various sacred-art exhibitions. In 1984 wins a prize from the Cartier’s Collection in Milan. In 1992 is among the prize-winners in a national competition announced by the Italian revue “Arte”.
In 1992-93 he revisits the “Tarots” theme, already developed in previous years: a special set of these 22 paintings, devoted to the tobacco’s subject and history, is included by the French art critic Pierre Restany in a show (Art et Tabac) which is presented in various european countries.
Follows a period of various ewxhibitions, performed in Europe and Japan.
In July 2002 the Italian Ministry for Heritage and Cultural Affairs supports a significant anthological exhibition in Ravello, with his paintings from 1990 to 2002.

6 Foot Broad Leaf Raining Cypress Tree

Born 1963, USA
the artist lives and works in Crystal River FL, USA

Florida State Resources officer for 18 years, I
became involved with a major fountain manufacturer on the east coast of the state.
After years of working in this area I decided
to incorporate the two. My love of the natural
environment, especially trees, and fountain
making.
So was born the idea of Raining Tree Fountains.
Through 2 years of research and developement
including the field trials necessary to perfect
the product, I have developed a unique artform
which lends beauty in both sight and sound to
any surrounding.
I look to provide custom sculpted trees, and other artwork fountains to those who seek the
beauty of nature, with the gentle soothing
sound of raindrops. Attractive in the daytime,
and hypnotically entrancing at night with fountain lights.
