Art has been my most in depth discipline of my life’s work mostly on a daily basis. In this time I learned secrets in health and music to advance and perpetuate my skills.

I am in the process of creating an instructional DVD unlike anything any student of the arts has ever embarked upon to convey all my secrets.

Sand T has been actively creating and exhibiting her work for over two decades. Her working mediums are installations, paintings, 2D and 3D mixed media works.

For this new body of work entitled Negotiating the Irrationalities, Sand T uses a combination of resin, graphite, spray paint and film on Plexiglas panels. The artist states that, �The working process for this work started with the primary intention of creating a new series with a simple visual experience rather than a narrative. The placement of the resin drops on Plexiglas panels was semi-intentional until a �visual plane� emerged.”

Visual balance and order in this new plane creates a structure that invites viewers to contemplate a state of vagueness that falls somewhere in the sequence of becoming, evolving, multiplying and ending.

Many viewers have expanded their imaginations beyond the dots/drops on Plexiglas surface. Some relating the work to Braille, rain drops, mysterious coding, constellation, or a scientific investigation on virus or bacteria.

Sand T explains that, �The use of random and concise primary elements, the dots (resin drops) and lines (engraved lines or filmed lines on negatives), the Negotiating the Irrationalities work does not speak of politics or culture. Rather, they suggest time, concentration, and energies of motion possessing meditative qualities that are continual through this work.”

The physicality of �dropping the dots� underlines the artist�s fixation with chaos; the keen desire to bring order within the structural grid. The artist�s attempts to control randomness have served as a unifying factor in this body of work that is otherwise free in form.
