| Gallery: New work 12.04.2007 Miami, USA What is your opinion? In order to paint, to create works of art, does one need to study? Many would say yes. Learning the craft is possible, but one must be born an artist to be one. This is a talent given by God. As testament to that stand the works of Oleg Radvan. I belong to the category of people who do not like to study. Why study something when you already know it subconsciously? I have a constant feeling that I have already done all I am doing now during another incarnation. In my works I gravitate towards classical realism, the school of the old masters. It is possible that my feeling of dj vu stems from just that. When I work, I feel as if someone is guiding my hand; painting comes to me easily. Website: Oleg Radvan |
