This web site is a showcase for Peter Eccleston’s work and ideas. As well as fine art there is a large section on his views of art, past and present and related issues (to be found in the Library) and also to give artists or people with an interest in art, the opportunity to view a studio and all its idiosyncrasies, in its attempt to become a fully functioning seat of creation.

Peter Eccleston is an artist based in the North West of England and works from a large purpose built studio (built with blood sweat and tears).

He has exhibited at the Royal Academy with painting, Cork Street with sculpture and regularly takes private commissions.

Paper/New England has joined with The Bushnell to exhibit work in the theater�s Promenade Gallery. The Promenade Gallery has a long standing tradition of exhibiting exceptional regional art and presents artists with an opportunity to gain substantial exposure. PNE/Promenade will open in January of 2008 with a juried show. Artist Jim Lee will jury a 2-part series of large work on paper.

Jim�s work is in many prestigious print and book collections, including: The Metropolitan Museum of Art,
The National Portrait Gallery, The Getty Art Center, The Wadsworth Atheneum, The New York Public
Library, Yale University, Harvard University, as well as corporate and private collections.

Submission
Artists may submit:
�Digital images on CD in JPEG format - see specs below.
�Slides - see specs below.
�All work must be clearly labeled with artist�s name, title, media, dimensions and ins. value.
�An artist statement and resume must be included (hardcopy or electronic).
Restrictions
Work must be on paper; all media, no unframed dimension smaller than 22� or greater than 60�; work must be framed.
Digital submission
Resolution: digital images may be no larger than 6 inches in any direction and must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi in JPEG format; images must be labeled using the following format: name.title.entry #.jpg; disks must be labeled in permanent marker.

Slides
You may send up to two 35mm slides for each work entered. One must be a full view. You may also send a detail view. Please see sample on registration form and mark accordingly.

Submission Fee
$20 for the first 3 submissions and $10 for each additional entry w/ no limit.

Check or money order payable to Paper/New England.

P/NE assumes the right to photograph accepted work for publicity purposes. Art will be handled with all possible care. A 35% commission will be charged on all sales.
