CHRISCHA Maria OSWALD

+ Born 20-11-1984, Germany
+ University of Arts, Linz/A - Fine Arts
+ Currently based in Linz/Austria

Mainly working with Photography but also doing Video & Video-Performance, Objects/Installation, Intervention in Urban Space, Writing

Chrischa´s work is very often about the concept of “reality” (of things and states) - questioning those things people might have become too used to. She is also inspired by everyday experiences and structures and vital emotions, and tries to create “visual examples” in which people can find their own experiences. Often it’s based on a certain concept but it’s also spontaneous. Her work is curious, diverse, ambiguous, imperfectly perfect, sensitive and rough, aspiring, emerging, driven and passionate. Her work is herself and you and nobody and everybody. Oscillating; on the move. Her work is salty milk and existence. She doesn´t want to limit anything, in any case. And her work is beyond those words.
