Since my childhood I have been in the habit of collecting random things and my motto is “if its kitsch then I have to have it”. This has now spread into my journals, where pages of sketches, notes and graffiti stickers (carefully ripped off passing lamp posts) fight for attention. My head is constantly full of ideas that lead me to have countless amounts of notebooks, both around the house and inside each of my ‘Mary Poppins’ style handbags. I can draw inspiration from pretty much everywhere I look, especially the sea, nature, dreams, film and music. Astronomical and scientific subjects have provided the inspiration for my most recent projects, which take the form of abstract acrylic paintings. Some examples of this latest work are currently on display at Stockport Art Gallery.

my creative practice is a voyage of discovery, enchantment and experimentation. I document the everyday life, people and places that often pass unnoticed in this fast paced society.

I work in both b/w and colour, and I use both traditional and digital techniques to create atmospheric interpretations of nature and vibrant semi-abstract compositions.

I am a designer by training and a visual artist by vocation; I trained as a photographer in Florence and since my days as a postgraduate at The University of The Arts in London, my creative practice has evolved in a balanced combination of art and design.
I have developed a wide and diversified portfolio of stunning images, unique shots that become the talking point in a domestic and/or commercial setting.

From Münster I took the train to Kassel where I had a few days to take in Documenta 12, which was a good deal better than the reviews would have you believe. Rather than share my favorites, which tended to be the more political works,
