| Born 1949, Netherlands the artist lives and works in Wedde, Netherlands Dutch artist Bart van Oijen (born 1949) creates lyrical abstract acrylic paintings on canvas and mixed media on paper, and on the other hand loves to make animal-drawings. Exhibitions throughout the year in Holland, Belgium, Germany and Scotland. For addresses and galleries see official website. Non-profitorganizations always can appeal on him for free (animal)illustrations. He also is an illustrator and made illustrations for several books and magazines. | Born 1967, United States the artist lives and works in Roy, WA, United States I was born in Washington, raised on the beautiful coast of Oregon. I started at a small community college in Coos Bay, and after receiving my Associate’s Degree I moved to Monmouth were I continued my education at Western Oregon University. In 2000 I received my Bachelor’s Degree.I moved back to Washington with my family. I have many mediums that I work in, including graphite, acrylics and oils, but I have found my love in charcoal. My love for my animals is what inspired me to do Charcoal drawings of my animals. After friends have seen my work I have been asked to do their Pet’s Portraits.
